Renewable Energy Resources

Renewable energy resources are natural, replenished sources of energy like solar, wind, hydropower, geothermal, and biomass. They are naturally replenished, making them an inexhaustible alternative to fossil fuels, with most having a low or zero carbon footprint and providing environmental benefits. Types of renewable energy Solar energy: Energy from the sun, which can be harnessed for electricity or heat even on cloudy days. Wind energy: Kinetic energy from wind captured by turbines to generate electricity. Hydropower: Energy from moving water, such as rivers or tides, often captured through dams or tidal power systems. Geothermal energy: Heat from the Earth's interior used for power generation or heating. Biomass: Energy from organic matter, such as wood, waste, and biofuels, which can be burned or converted into other fuels. Ocean energy: Energy from tides, waves, and temperature differences in the ocean.
